Work it until you achieve it: My journey at 31.
Last week I turned 31, I find myself looking back on the incredible journey that has led me to where I am today. From a young age, I knew my passion lay in architecture and photography, and I made a promise to myself that I would work tirelessly to turn that passion into a fulfilling career. Join me as I share my story of perseverance, dedication, and the unwavering belief that age is just a number when it comes to doing what you love.
From the moment that my parents gave me my first camera, I knew that photography was more than just a hobby for me; it was an intrinsic part of who I am. Capturing moments, emotions, and the beauty of the world through my lens brought me an indescribable joy. As I embarked on my photography journey, I quickly realized that this was the path I was meant to follow.
The road to pursuing my passion was not without its challenges. Doubts and uncertainties crept in, and I faced moments of questioning whether I could truly make a career out of my love for photography. However, I refused to let fear hold me back. I reminded myself that every successful photographer faced obstacles along the way and that perseverance was the key to overcoming them.
I embraced the saying of "work it until you achieve it." I immersed myself in learning and honing my craft, attending workshops, and seeking guidance from profesionals photographers. I devoted countless hours to practice, experimenting with different techniques, and capturing moments that spoke to my soul.
Around 5 years ago, I decided it was time to turn my passion into a profession. I started my photography business and began building my brand from the ground up. Social media became a valuable platform to showcase my work and connect with a broader audience. Each photoshoot was an opportunity to refine my style and strengthen my brand identity.
Today, as I look back on my journey, I feel a deep sense of fulfillment. I have been fortunate to help others with my work, giving them the cofidence to show their projects to the world. I am grateful for the opportunities, challenges, and growth that have shaped me into the photographer I am today. I have learned that following your passion is a journey perseverance, and it is never too late to start doing what you love. So, if you have a dream, no matter your age, I encourage you to work it until you achieve it.
Here's to another year of capturing amazing projects and living life to the fullest!
